The only piece of advice I would give someone sailing is forget about the "professional" pictures, they are WAY overpriced. Take your own and enjoy the memories!!

We packed the allowed 2 bottles of wine in our checked luggage. It was confiscated. Take it on your carry on and it is OK. We also had an alarm clock confiscated and returned because they said it was an extension cord. Should have put it in the carry on.

as on any ship - get to know the layout early. Read your fun times and experience everything you can that interests you. Cruising is great.

Get a cabin in the mid section unless u love walking. Get a scooter if you r disabled like me n didnt know just how much walking there would be. Missed alot due to pain in legs. Feet back n hips from walking so much. Had to get shots in knees post cruise, n steriods.

treat yourself dont cheat yourself, get a balcony room, and a higher deck level, and download the carnival app. It will keep you updated on what's going on. Be ready to party with Mike he is a ton of fun!

The walls are metal in the rooms. Magnetic hooks or clips really help to maximize and organize the space. Also, pack half of what you think you need. I was shocked at how much I brought that I never really used.

Do not use your bank card connected to your sail and sign as holds are placed on the check card and charges all concurrent and can overdraw the acct.

Stay in the middle of the ship rooms. Front and back were so bouncy but I had the best nights sleep in our middle ship room every night. 6th floor.
