Review summary

Overall it was one of the best cruises we have had. It was supposed to rain every day. We got no rain. Instead it was sunny and about 85 every day. Had a great time! Can't wait to cruise again!

It was extremely quick. We were in our staterooms in 30 minutes. Never had that happen before.

Ship tip

We packed the allowed 2 bottles of wine in our checked luggage. It was confiscated. Take it on your carry on and it is OK. We also had an alarm clock confiscated and returned because they said it was an extension cord. Should have put it in the carry on.

We rented a truck and drove into the jungle to visit a friend's resort called Angel Falls. You should check it out. 400 ft waterfall you can repel and some great zip lines.

We bought a day pass from the Mayan Princess resort. It was $25 less than the one the boat sold and we got there an hour before the boat excursion did. The vendors were annoying but it was definitely worth the $.
