Review summary

We were originally scheduled out of San Juan on an Eastern Caribbean cruise. The hurricanes that year changed our plan. This cruise was to celebrate a 60th birthday. It was canceled at the last minute. Carnival refunded our $ and offered the Breeze as a free substitute. Great customer service and wonderful cruise. Couldn’t have had a better birthday celebration!

Always use the Carnival Transfers to/from Port. Traveled from Houston to Galveston on comfortable bus. Purchased Faster to the Fun and embarkation was fairly easy.

Had the Early Dining time slot. Service and food were excellent. Learned for the first time you could order multiple entrees if desired.

Alchemy Bar is a must visit if you like unique, custom cocktails.This was our first experience with the Alchemy Bar. Now it’s our pre-dinner meeting place on every cruise.Try a flight of cocktails! Find your favorite!I like the Caribbean Old Fashion.

Always enjoy the pool and Casino. Won the black jack tournament! First experience with the Serenity Deck. First experience with spa services. We over indulged and it was well worth it. You can usually get a discount if you buy at least 3 services. I had 2 man facials and massages. OMG!!! Every guy in our group then had the facial.

Enjoyed the comedy and other shows. This cruise included Halloween. Hats off to the JJ’s, a large group on their annual cruise. Their costumes were extraordinary!

First time in an inner cabin. Thought I would feel claustrophobic but not at all. In fact, I’ve never slept better! Cabin steward was great!
