For a first time it was a good experience and will do it again after some tweaking. Favorite things were the water park on the ship, rope course, food, shows.

Because of little kids we mainly dined at lido market place. We also tried the sapphire and blush dining rooms, service and staff were nice. Food choices were great, mainly was at good eats section. Tried the pizza and taco place as well. The only thing I noticed was staff asked those people who had the cheers package what drinks or mimosas they would like. We had got the bottomless bubbles package mainly for our kids and mostly no one asked what our kids would like. I went to the bars to get the bubbles or juices for my kids but as soon as they heard non alcoholic drinks they were not happy to serve us. Next time won’t be buying the bottomless bubbles package. It was nice that we bought the water in the cabin before the cruise. While embarking I saw many people carrying their water and sodas and with kids for me it was going to be difficult

Food pics are from this restaurant. Great food, great service. I had booked for my 4 and 12 yr old as a kid but my 12 yr old ended up ordering from the main menu and was still charged kid price. That was nice of them. Thank you

For four of us it was crammed. Next time will book a better space. The rest of the ship had lots of activities so we didn’t need to spend much time in the room.
Ship tip
Next time will not be getting the drinks package. It is not worth it for people who don’t drink much sodas or alcohol. Internet is spotty. Thankfully only bought the premium Wi-Fi for one device but it was not working well. Next time will not be buying that as well. Definitely booking shore excursions early and confirming with them before the event helps.
Port is lovely! Went to paradise beach club. Took a taxi- 15 dollars four of us each way. Pool, food and drinks. Very relaxing. Had pre ordered cabana which was awesome!
Port looked run down. Went to chichen itza and cenote il kil. Followed the instructions on the shore excursion ticket, took the free shuttle to get to the contact person. Bus ride to the excursion was 2.5 hrs back and forth. So at both places felt rushed.
It would have been easy if people followed the instructions and got in line according to the muster stations. By 8.30 everyone had to be out so there was no way but to gather in public areas so that made the disembarkation tedious.
Also we did the couples massage which was wonderful and they did try to sell us the expensive Elemis products. With the 5 dollar chat plan on the carnival hub app we can chat among the family but not anyone else in the ship. It would have been helpful if that feature was available to help us chat with others especially anyone going on the same excursions.
