We had a great time and we are firm believers that a Cruise is as good as you make it! So go in with a good attitude and relax and just enjoy every minute and don’t sweat the small stuff, also don’t let other people’s opinions affect what you want to do or what you want to eat 😎
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We were on the ship, did our Muster and eating Guy’s burgers by 11. We used Verifly and it was so quick and easy.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We didn’t do the Main dining room but the Steakhouse was great as it always is. Well worth the money. We loved Guy’s and the Mongolian Wok is great, we also like the Seafood Shack a lot and of course late night pizza. We only ate breakfast on the Lido, I love the Omelette station and my husband loves Blue Iguana breakfast burritos.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We are pretty laid back and like to just relax and people watch.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We had fun listening to all the “singers” doing Karaoke. The Ocean Plaza had a good band and singers but we really enjoyed listening to the violin trio play. They were really good!
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
We had a wonderful room steward named Kadek. He was always asking us if we needed anything. Our waitstaff in the Steakhouse were great. Carnival has the friendliest staff.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The staff were constantly cleaning but I didn’t see as many hand sanitizer stations as we did in May on the Dream.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our cabin was great, cold air conditioning, comfortable bed, great pillows. We were very comfortable and loved sitting on our balcony.
We always enjoy Cozumel because there is so much to do there! We didn’t do any excursions this time, just ate at Pancho’s and shopped. We feel completely safe there.
We were in our car by 7:45, if everyone would just do what is asked of them things will go smoother. The young lady handling our group in the Ovation theatre was very professional and told everyone how things were going to go and it worked.
