Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Dining room food wasn't as good as usual. Guys, blue iguana, Mongolian wok, and sea day brunch were good.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Not as many activities during the sea days as expected. If you like trivia they have lots of those throughout the day. We went to lectures, tea, shopping talks, shows, crafts, and listening to music.

Overall good. Same shows we've seen previously. Good music variety and performers on board.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Had a 17 year old granddaughter with us. Not much for her to do with the childrens program because a journey cruise is mostly older people. We did do the Build a bear, the staff wasn't very friendly.

Service and Staff

Love the carnival staff!

Ship Quality

Loved the classic design of the Breeze. Beautiful ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

Balcony cabin was a good size. Great storage. Would like 1 more outlet.

Ship tip

Bring a nightlight for the bathroom. The ship is beautiful and there are several venues to enjoy.

Ports of call

Basseterre, St. Kitts

3rd time to St Kitts. Beautiful island. Beware of the monkey people at the pier. There is a charge to have them sit on you. We knew that so we asked prices before allowing.

Fort-De-France, Martinique

Have been here 3 times, isn't our favorite island. The people aren't very friendly. I highly recommend an excursion on this island.

Frederiksted, St. Croix, U.S.V.I.

Only went to the beach, it's rocky so bring water shoes. Next time I'd like to take an excursion.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
Always love St Maarten. The Dutch side is getting back to normal but the French side is a little further behind.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
Been to San Juan many times, it's one of our favorites. Very quaint island with beautiful architecture in old San Juan. Don't need to book an excursion here, so much to do and see within walking distance. I suggest saving your beach day for a different island though. Enjoy the culture and food here.

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

3 out of 5
We took an excursion to Jost Van Dyke, beautiful island with beautiful beaches. We had problems with our excursion but it is beautiful around these islands.

Bridgetown, Barbados

Love love love Barbados. The water and beaches are just what you expect in the Caribbean. People are so friendly.

St. George's, Grenada

First time to Grenada. Enjoyed the spice island. People were very friendly.

Very poorly done. But once we were off the ship, getting a porter, and going through customs, then to our shuttle was easy.
