Over priced...will NEVER go on another Carnival again...EVER! Worst experience AND worst vacation we have EVER had!

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
Sapphire was mediocre at best. Every night we dined, there were issues. Slow service, something wrong with the food, limited choices, disappointing. The buffets were ok...way too crowded and standing in line behind employees was ridiculous. We should NOT be waiting behind 3 employees if we are guests. The burger place was the best food, bar none. The 15 drink limit per day on the bev package is ridiculous and the fact that you cannot get two drinks at once, a bucket of beer, etc...is ridiculous. Too few servers for the pool decks and casino.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
The pools stunk. They were overcrowded, too small, and again so many people crowded every section of this ship. We were only able to sit on the side of the pool for 10 mins one day....all other days...there was no room. No one was enforcing the 40 minute rule on abandoned towels, even though you have it posted everywhere. So disappointed.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
The shows were entertaining. The best part about the ship.
Service and Staff
1 out of 5
No one was particularly memorable with the exception of our state room attendant Chianyo? Shianyo? I hope I spelled that right. We were VERY happy with her. She was attentive, thorough, kind, EXCEPTIONAL! Put her on a better boat where she is with other employees at the top of their game!
Ship Quality

Bathrooms were rarely kept clean. Casino was super crowded. Bars were crowded. Not enough pool space for the amount of guests.
Cabin / Stateroom

Disappointed balcony looked over another deck. The room itself was good. What you would expect. The one side of the bed was angled so my husband was miserable. Water pressure in shower was great.
Ship tip
Cancel! Don't go. Worst cruise experience I have ever had and I have been on 6 cruises. If I had to be diplomatic...I would say, go expecting to pay extra for everything and wait in line for all food and drinks...
Excursion to Playa Bachata was a disaster. All of the people on the excursion took the very first shuttle back. Most of us got a full refund it was so bad.
Pretty good....again, very crowded, but you expect it the day you leave...not the entire cruise. Staff was clearly ready to see us all go....bad moods all around.
Perhaps your other cruises were on Oceania or Seaborne, or on older, smaller ships. We love the Carnival Spirit Class ships for small size, But love the Dream Class (Dream, Breeze, Magic) for activities and variety. I agree with KandCBass that you might prefer a land resort for more spread out facilities and less crowding. We find them boring. We just love our ships, and will be back on the Breeze in April. Love the FUN on her!
Sounds like you would prefer a land vacation in an all inclusive resort! Cruises are different, they are not a 5* hotel they are actually a ship! Really, I know this is hard to believe lol but they are a ship. The beauty of the cruise is the many ports and all the entertainment you can handle! Now with that said, try your land vacation... I promise you will spend at the very least 4x more money and only be in 1 place the whole time! Staff will not remember you by name and you will not have a variety of restaurants, maybe a few. I am only telling you this because I have been on both types of vacation and I love the cruise (Carnival) is the best bang for your buck by far! Maybe you would prefer a land resort, just sayin please don’t try to spoil others vacations!!! We normally purchase our vacation a year out and not going to let a party pooper ruin my fun! Sorry just had to say my peace.
Please don’t cruise on Carnival again. We don’t need to have you spoil it for the rest of us.
OVERPRICED?? Compared to what??
Some people are never satisfied. The cruise is what you make of it. Nothing is perfect in this life
Get a canoe and have some fun!!
"6" cruise but 1 review. Overpriced? What cruise line are you comparing it too? You should have done your homework about your cabin/balcony before booking. Appears to me that you are one of those cruise critic trolls.
We were on the same cruise and had a totally different experience. We ate in the Sapphire dining room and had excellent service with good food choices. The casino was busy because there was a tournament. Perhaps Carnival is not for you.
Hmmm I have been on Breeze and LOVED IT and we are gonna sail her again. You seem like you wanted to be the only people on the ship. Sometimes the employees are on break, sailing home via ship whatever and they need to eat too! Breeze is a large ship and that means Lots if people, we really didn’t encounter that issue and if there was a line at buffet it went quick. Maybe Just Stay Home!
It just sounds to me like you are a complainer. I sailed in the Breeze last summer
She was not my favorite ship but we still had a great time. Of course the pools are going to be crowded and the food lines are going to be long. The ship holds a lot of people. Carnival is a fantastic cruise line. I have no idea what you mean about paying extra for everything. Not true.
Our experience on the Carnival Breeze was fantastic. Loved the layout of the ship, the food was very good and lots of things to do. However I do agree they need to do something about the chair Hogs
I was on the Breeze in April with my daughter and 4 grandkids. We had a Super Great time. I left a review on here about it. I have videos of the kids in the pool. Sorry you had a bad time. I've been on 5 different cruise lines, and I truly enjoy Carnival more than any other.
