Generally the cruise was pleasant and relaxing. However, the clientele leaves much to be desired. Some were rude and obnoxious. If you’re an older adult looking for a more sophisticated cruising experience, Carnival isn’t the cruise line for you.

Food and Dining

Dinner was sub-par in the main dining room. Meals were barely warm and portions were small. The Lido deck buffet was good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guy’s Burgers and Guy’s BBQ were sub-par. All they have is his name.

Don’t waste your time eating here. The food was barely warm and portions were small. You’re better off eating at Lido Marketplace.
Onboard Activities

Pools were too crowded so I didn’t get in. For the size of the ship and the number of guests it can carry, the main pool was way too small. There wasn’t a fitness center, just some jungle gym contraptions throw together on the aft top deck.
Entertainment

The DJ’s were mediocre. The music they spin pretty much only caters to millennials. I’m giving the 5-star rating to a wonderful violin trio that played every night. Sky Breeze. They weren’t the musical highlight.

Great! Loved that it had 2 bathrooms.
Ship tip
If you’re an older adult and you’re looking for a more sophisticated cruising experience, don’t sail on Carnival.
When you cruise on a ship that is known to be family during summer vacation you should expect the ship to be full. And the pools to be full of kids.! I have had a great time every time I have cruised and they have all been on Carnival. I have met some wonderful people. I would much rather “slum it” with the so called Walmart crowd than to go on a cruise ship full of snobs!!
Well your totally wrong on the gym, need to explore the ship, or look at the floor plan which is easily available on line, by the elevator, and so on.
You should probably find about her activity instead of cruising. Sounds
like you are a pro at complaining....
