Went on the cruise with several other families. Enjoyed every minute!
Embarkation

Everything went smooth. There was a little sitting and waiting but definitely faster than some we have went on.

Ship Quality

The open air parts of the ship were great! The inside was just that, inside! I prefer a more open design myself, but that is just my opinion. Everything was beautiful and clean.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Cruise ship cabins are notoriously small but we had a great balcony with a good view. We were only in the room for sleeping, changing, showering, etc. Room was always clean and staff was great.
Ship tip
The steps at the slide are hot, so bring some water shoes.
Cozumel is a favorite location of ours! We always set base at Paradise beach and have someone pick us up there and take us drift diving then return there to relax and scarf down some grande nachos! We usually split the nacho plate between 2 people and have yet been able to finish them!!
Been to Montego Bay twice and both times just wished I’d stayed on the ship. High pressure drug dealers everywhere you go. The last time we were there, the bus driver took us to the wrong location stating that it was his buddies place and we would like it better. It looked like a ran down crack house so we refused to get off the bus( we had 24 people with our group). He went inside, came out with a bottle of rum and proceeded to down it while driving like a maniac and finally dropped us off at Jimmy Buffett’s restaurant.
Love Grand Cayman! We did stingray city with our group and everyone had a blast! On the way back to the ship, we stopped at Rackam’s to grab a bite. It’s awesome! You eat on a pier jetting along side a little bay. You can hop in and swim while you wait for your food. Large fish swam up to us and it was fun just hanging out there snorkeling. I think the food was good too?
We got stuck on the ship due to a storm. The crew was of course trying to get everything ready for the next cruise so nothing was open and we had to just sit and wait for everything to clear. By the time we were finally released, our traveling crew that was released on time was 5 hours down the road and it made for a really long travel day. However, you can’t blame the cruise line for the weather and appreciate that they cared for our safety.
One of the most beautiful ships I’ve been on was a RCCL ship, the Oasis, but it had everything INSIDE. There was no connection to the open air and sea. I found that Carnival has great indoor and outdoor activities and the Breeze was one of my favorite ships.
