Review summary

We thought the cruise was just ok. We go on a cruise every year. Generally we book cruises with my parents (the stayed in 7300 this trip). Unfortunately, this will most likely be our last Carnival cruise. We have had more favorable service and experiences on a competing cruise line. My parents were dissatisfied with this experience and believe their money would also be better spent on the competition.

Food was generally quite good at dinner, minus the first and last night. The buffets were satisfactory.

The service staff was mostly great, but a few were not very hospitable. One waitress from India forgot our orders both times she waited on our tables. The sales person in the jewelry store showed my fiance an engagement ring with a larger diamond when I said she already has a diamond and we are interested in wedding bands. It was a slightly offensive gesture that resulted in us immediately leaving the store.

I really wish we would have stayed on the beach and not booked an excursion. Having done a Chukka excursion in Fallmouth last year, I had expected the same experience. The staff was rude, cut our tour short and herded us like cattle. This is the only excursion that I've ever complained about.
