We didn’t stay at Amber Cove, we took a taxi into the city and went to Puerto Plata which was just ok

We did the beach excursion to Magen bay and that beach was just ok. We heard that Coki Beach was awesome and beautiful

We did not do an excursion but walked to old San Juan and we absolutely loved it. no excursion needed here because you can walk to see a lot of things here
