Review summary

Over all an incredible experience! Carnival never disappoints and treats all of their guest like ROYALTY!!! We made so many great memories in the 2 weeks we spent on the carnival breeze! We can't wait to set sail on our next Carnival adventure! Thank You for the amazing vacation!

We left out of Galveston, TX and the entire embarkation process was super fast and efficient! We basically just showed up and walked right on the boat!

AMAZING DRINKS MADE STRONG!!!! Very happy to get my money's worth as we did not purchase the "Cheers" drink package! Tip: If you are planning to order a few drinks or drinking with friends... order a pitcher! It gives you more for your money!

I use to think this place was for old people. Man was I wrong! A great place to go and relax with an after dinner drink and listen to some amazing musicians! They even look for singers in the crowd if you have the guts to get up and sing a song! Great vibes!

BEWARE: Its been a while since we went on a cruise so we didn't know that the photographers now charge a "shooting fee". It used to be free to take pictures with the photographers and then you had the option to buy the photos afterwards. Now they charge you around $10 each time you stop to take a picture with them... and the photographers don't even tell you! We noticed this after a few days into our 2 week cruise. After that... we took our own pictures.

We ordered the "Social" wifi package and it was really poor. we didn't get service in our cabin unless you stood in the bathroom and even then the wifi only worked a few times during the trip.

Carnival Water Works

So much fun for all ages! The big bucket keeps you cool on those hot sea days and the watersides are fast and fun! Tip: Don't go down "The Twister" waterslide after too many margaritas.

Entertainment

The musicians, comedians and all of the performers were absolutely INCREDIBLE and VERY talented!! The only problem was with the "Playlist Production" performers in the theatre. We found the shows to be quite cheesy and the singing was very pitchy. Very disappointed with the "Playlist Production" shows.

The BEST place for entertainment on the ship BY FAR! 5 star comedians had us laughing till we almost peed our pants and the adult game nights were SO fun and funny!!!

Beautiful decor... but the entertainment on this cruise was very poor. (Carnival Breeze Sept.16) The "Playlist Productions" were very cheesy and pitchy. We were very disappointed as usually the main theatres have incredible entertainment! We found better entertainment elsewhere on the ship.

We lucked out and only had around 38 kids on the entire ship!! So in the 2 weeks of being on the ship... I hardly ever saw any kids.

5 STAR, FANTASTIC service! We felt like royalty the whole time. Shout out to our waiting staff in the Blush main dining room - I Wayan and Sum! You guys made our trip so special and memorable.

Our favourite port BY FAR!!! We did the UTV Adventure excursion and It was the most incredible experience of our lives!! Richi was our tour guide and he was funny, knowledgeable and took us to the most incredible private beach, ruins, light house and church. We also got to try fresh coconut sold by a local vendor. If you want to see all of Aruba in 1 day without being rushed and still having fun... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND RICHI AND THE UTV ADVENTURE!!!

Beautiful port. So much culture and natural beauty! We did the Private Blue Bay Beach & Snorkel Excursion and was a little disappointed. It was only a 3 hour excursion that we had anticipated spending the whole time at the beach... but the tour guide ended up taking us on an hour long guided bus tour around the whole island before we even got to the beach. This would have been fine had the 1 hour tour been mentioned in the excursion details... but we were just looking for a relaxing day at the beach, not a tour in a hot and squishy bus.

We took a cab (shout out to our amazing cab driver Tony) to the Copacabana Beach Club on Brownes Beach, Barbados! A beautiful beach with pure white soft sand and crystal blue waters. Great place to go if you want a nice relaxing beach day!

We took a cab to the Divi Resort on Small Bay Beach. No access charge but you have the choice to rent chairs and umbrellas. Nice, quiet beach with great snorkelling alone the big rocks. Soft sand and gentle waves. There is also a bar there where you can get a delicious "Guava Berry Rum" pina colada! (The Island Specialty) VERY YUMMY and refreshing!
