When handicap people are returning to the ship from a day at a port & debarking in Galveston there is no assistance with the elevators like there is when they get off the ship at a port. Very disappointed in this. It is a must that Carnival cannot over look. That assistance is crucial for these passengers. There was a lady in a wheelchair that waited for over an hour to get on an elevator when we debarked in Galveston. This is the only negative of this whole cruise. We will be cruising on the Breeze again.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
The fog caused out embarkation to be backed up & that is no fault of Carnival but getting through the line to board the ship took way to long there were many people like my husband who were disabled who cannot stand that long it need to be better organized.

Service and Staff

Everyone was so helpful always smiling & truly showed how much they love their jobs. Out room steward was Big O - he was amazing. Loved his big grin always helpful & such a sweet man. A very hard worker Carnival should be proud. We hope to see him again some day.

Cabin / Stateroom

The size is fine for two, the beds are heaven so comfortable. Every evening we came in to the bed made & everything spotless.
Sadly the fog in Galveston put a damper on our visit there but it was good to go back. Used to spend my summers there growing up & hadn't been since 1976.
We just got off the Breeze 3 weeks ago. Mom and Pop are both in need of assistance and got it. We had no problems with the Breeze crew giving them help. Nothing but praise for the crew. But we also asked the crew questions and advise.
I am in a wheel chair too, a scooter. An idea is talk to the person in charge of accessibility each ship has one and let them know you need help with getting up and down the elevators at the ports, ask once your on board before the first port.
Is it possible she was waiting on her some # to be called? And in our experience, it seems to take everyone of the on board staff to keep people in orderly fashion to get off ship
