Although the leg of our journey had a couple of downs the Captain and Senior officer Crew kept us safe during Hurricane Harvey. The cruise director and staff planned plenty of activities and we were informed when they were on the status of our cars in Galveston and offered free phone and wifi for us to call home. food was aplenty and good as always. as for as Carnival during this trying time you could not have asked for better during this crisis, On behalf of my family and myself, Thank you Carnival for Keeping us safe and informed

My Family did a back to back, we were the last ones off and the first ones back on, and would recommend this to everyone to at least do this once in a lifetime.

The pool experience was okay as far as so many people in the pool which is expected and not a problem. what was the problem is I was playing with my husband and going to splash him and another guest told me not to do that because I would splash someone else, OK I said and continued to go on and was told I better not and then the pool was ruined for my husband and myself. We are in our 50's bothering not one single person, getting splashed by others and going with the flow to have a smart a** tell another smart a** not to do what he was doing to everyone. But hey we got out, and went to casino. Some on this cruise were not as friendly as the first cruise on this back to back. Carnival does not enforce people saving chairs anymore, we timed chairs being saved for over 2 hours just surprised.

DJ Spike was pretty awesome he played all Genres of music which we loved, we like all of the types of music, new and old.

We are rating this a 5 for 2 reasons and 2 reasons only, I am a retired retail district Manager for a chain of stores and customer service is a must, it is very sad when the people cleaning up on decks sweeping wiping tables etc. are giving the people the best service they received the entire time on this ship. His name was Ronnie and he took care of everyone equally with courtesy and respect he was absolutely the best in every aspect going above and beyond to help everyone and take care of our needs, WOW HE TOLD ME HE HAD NOT BEEN WORKING FOR CARNIVAL ONLY 4 WEEKS he definitely has the right of it. Very impressive.
We smoke and were on deck 11 it was like no one wanted to come up and take our drink order, I had to go down and ask for someone to please come up for our drink order and I gave him 20.00 to please keep a check on us. this should not be like this very disappointing never before on a carnival ship have I had this problem. The Breeze service was not what it was in 2015 when we went to San Juan and St. Thomas. needs improvement

not sure how to rate this, when we were allowed to go to our room 10259 we could not even walk in the room due to our luggage was left in the entry way the door opened enough for my husband to walk in and move all of our luggage out of the way so we could walk in, my 70 year old mother couldn't even unpack her hang-up clothes due to the room was a storage room under the bed was 4 sets of comforter sets the closets had them in their and the worst was dirty towels still in the bathroom.
