Review summary

A great trip however much patience beyond normal is required for the confusion of loading and unloading passengers . Our luggage was dropped off at 11:30 AM but did not arrive to our cabin until 5:30 PM . I see no excuse for this slow delivery . We sat for 3 1/2  hours after docking before our zone was called allowing us to enter the baggage claim area to look for our luggage . Again this is not right considering our luggage was delivered the night prior to allow them time to organize it . I understand that there were thousands of people , but we have been on many other cruise lines that do this more quickly

MNtravels, before being so quick to direct people on how to respond to thread replies, maybe you should read the review again. The OP stated "We sat for 3 1/2  hours after docking before our zone was called allowing us to enter the baggage claim area to look for our luggage .". To me, and anyone that has cruise experience, this means the ship was NOT cleared for the passengers to disembark before even entering the luggage area. The ship could have been sitting waiting for clearance from the port. This could have been for a number of reasons including customs clearance. They may have "waited" 3.5 hours before their number was called but doesn't mean disembarkation didn't begin 1 hour prior to their number being called. It only means they waited 3.5 hours from the time they got to their disembarkation area.

Keep the comments helpful and not sarcasm aimed at the OP.  If you have ever cruised you know waiting 3.5 hours for your luggage so you can leave the terminal is unacceptable.

Getting your luggage at 5:30 is not at all bad! That's why they tell you to take everything you need for the day in your carry on. They are lenient with the dress code in the dining room that first night.

Cruised Norwegian 3 years ago . Took 4 hours to get off and we waited in line on the deck the whole tine, not inside enjoying breakfast. Good luck with another cruise line. If you take it yourself you can get off much earlier.

Omg really it's not like ther were sorting luggage for 3k+ people getting on and off. And if you wanted off so quickly you could have opted to take your luggage off with you.

Really? How was the cruise over all? Did you get the FTTF?

What about the cruise itself?

We always carry off our own luggage and therefore can get off the ship at our convenience.
