A: We’ve stayed on Deck 1 before, and it wasn’t bad at all. You’ll get great water views out of your windows! Plus, Deck 1 sounds like it’s the lowest level on the ship, but it’s not. You have to remember that there is a Deck Zero (sometimes used for em... barking or debarking, has the Infirmary), and there are lower levels for employee staterooms.See More

A: deck one midship is one of the best places to be. Forward may hear the anchor drop and rear may get you some engine noise. you will appreciate the ability to quickly disembark and return to your room on port days

Answered by jallaway on October 19, 2024

A: My first cruise was on the Breeze and on Deck 1. Our cabin was in the middle of the ship and we didn’t feel anything. Until our last night on the ship. That was because we were going through some bad weather. But I felt it through out the whole ship... during that night. Except when I went to bed. It wasn’t bad, it just rocked you a little.See More

A: Sailed around the edge of Hurricane Nichol on the Carnival Dream. We missed one port and stayed at sea. There was a bit of rocking and extra creaking noises, but fortunately we don’t get sea sick. We had a deck 2 cove balcony midship so that helped w... ith some of the motion. Everyone wobbled as they walked down the corridors.See More

A: I don't have to tell you the cost difference. You'll be either walking around with a thermal cup or carrying a can to the lido deck. Some might say that's better than hassling with bar tenders for a soda

Answered by jallaway on July 30, 2024

A: We always bring soda, someone suggested putting them in a bag with wheels through the terminal and pull them out to be checked. If you ask your room steward will fill a bucket of ice for your room.

Answered by mary0909 on July 31, 2024

A: Definitely carry on your own 12 packs of soda.

Answered by travelingamigos on August 8, 2024

A: just bring one 12-pack soda.

Answered by ddcoth3 on August 8, 2024

A: I think the 12 packs of soda would be better. Like someone else said, the hassle of getting a soda from the bar is a lot. Also, buying a soda in dining room at meals is still cheaper than the package.

Answered by mholl on August 4, 2024

A: I'm a pop drinker, my wife isn't. We both carry on our pop that we drink, however I do buy the soda package for me cause i like to have a coke or two at dinner, so my case would be gone just at dinner and I usually carry a can or two in my backpack w... hen on the island so its saves me money while shopping with the wife!See More

A: Carnival HUB is free. Put phone on airplane mode.

Answered by jimbo502 on September 16, 2023

A: The hub is free, but the wifi there is a charge for. The price is based on what package you want and for how many devices. Since I'm also a college professor, I needed to grade assignments so I got the premium.

Answered by AsYouWishTravel on September 16, 2023

A: Put your phone on AIRPLANE MODE the minute you step on the ship. I would also download the WHATUP app for calls & texts. I use this app at sea

Answered by sam9555 on September 17, 2023

A: You have to purchase a Wi-Fi plan if you want to connect to Wi-Fi. Look on your cruise manager for Wi-Fi plans to see the different plans.

A: Yes, but your room key card will be used for almost all purchases.

Answered by Kracka on September 14, 2023

A: Another way. when you go to the casino, you can download money into the machines from your room account. Whether you play a lot or a little to none, you can still cash out at the casino and receive all that money back in cash.

Answered by jallaway on September 15, 2023

A: sorry that got messed up. a friend of mine used an ATM on board once still in Texas and wants halfway between Texas and Cozumel and came home to find $82 in fees for using that ATM. my advice would be to take cash with you unless you have extra cash... to just throw away.See More

Answered by crysles20 on September 15, 2023

A: Port of Galveston's express lot is the closest. It's directly within the terminal. There are several others within walking distance but across the street

Answered by babygrljaz on September 5, 2023

A: it helps if you know if the Breeze will dock at Terminal 25 or 28 (most likely 28). As noted, that express lot is literally right outside the door of terminal 28. if terminal 25, you might just walk across the street to their covered parking.
