deck one midship is one of the best places to be. Forward may hear the anchor drop and rear may get you some engine noise. you will appreciate the ability to quickly disembark and return to your room on port days

We’ve stayed on Deck 1 before, and it wasn’t bad at all. You’ll get great water views out of your windows! Plus, Deck 1 sounds like it’s the lowest level on the ship, but it’s not. You have to remember that there is a Deck Zero (sometimes used for embarking or debarking, has the Infirmary), and there are lower levels for employee staterooms.

My first cruise was on the Breeze and on Deck 1. Our cabin was in the middle of the ship and we didn’t feel anything. Until our last night on the ship. That was because we were going through some bad weather. But I felt it through out the whole ship during that night. Except when I went to bed. It wasn’t bad, it just rocked you a little.
