Review summary

I believe that ship should have been retired. The paint was peeling in pool and jacuzzi area. Ventilation system throughout ship was faulty. Other than being windy at those 2 ports that were canceled, i don't know why we didn't port. When we returned to Ft Lauderdale it was very windy and rainy, yet the CPT was able to stop and get rid of us all. I will NEVER cruise again. I spent a lot of money on this and it was not worth it.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Staff were very efficient

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Only reason I'm giving it a 4 star is because the waiters and food prep crew were very nice and helpful. Waaaay too many people, difficult to find seating

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
We didn't get to enjoy any activities because the amount of people that wanted to participate was vast. The CPT canceled 2 ports due to "weather conditions" so everyone remained on ship looking for things to do

Entertainment

1 out of 5
We didn't get to participate in stage shows because there was not enough seating. Performers and musicians were excellent...again standing and not able to sit, too many people.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Stateroom staff and waiters were great..very attentive, friendly and efficient. Bartenders looked overwhelmed, not enough bartenders for the amount of people on ship

Ship Quality

5 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
Comfort was good but ventilation was horrible. Cabin felt stuffy and at felt like air was stagnant

Ship tip

Don't do it...go to an all inclusive resort.

Ports of call

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island) Did not visit port

CPT canceled due to "weather conditions"

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Grand Turk Island

1 out of 5
Port was on a beach where our view was not of ocean but of the big, outdated and rusty ship

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic Did not visit port

Again, CPT canceled due to "weather conditions"

Disembarkation

No one controls the weather. If you had any awareness you’d know the whole week was filled with horrible weather from the Gulf of Mexico all the way to New England. Enjoy your AI vacations where apparently they never have bad weather!

As others have said, you can’t control the weather. As for the amount of passengers…. It sounds like you wanted to be the only people onboard. Perhaps next time you should charter a yacht with a captain and a chef and you’ll have the place to yourselves!
