This cruise isquite long, but we found it to be very relaxing. The Cruise director and her staff made it a fun trip.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was very good in the main dining room but portions have shrunk a bit. The pizza, burgers, tacos and hot dogs up on the deck were all great, as was the buffet.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
There are a few pools and hot tubs on board but the weather was somewhat cool, so not many people were swimming. There were daily games to play and a room upstairs with a foosball table and ping pong table.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The three production shows, singers, and comedians that performed were all excellent!

Children's Programs

We did not bring kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Every employee on the ship was absolutely friendly and did their jobs well. Every one of them was a pleasure to meet and speak with.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Great ship, easy to navigate

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Spacious, clean, plenty of closet space, tall refrigerator.

Ports of call

New York, New York

It was very east to access the port by taking a subway to Wall Street, then boarding a $4.00 ferry over to Brooklyn to board the ship.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

Friendly people and a very clean city. We did a Hop On/Hop Off bus. The waterfront area is pretty and has great restaurants. We enjoyed the Immigration Museum

Sydney, Nova Scotia

Very small town, not much to do but the people are very nice. There's a GIANT fiddle right by the ship.

Nuuk, Greenland

Nanortalik, Greenland

We did an excursion booked on our own which took seven of us out in a small motorboat to get up close to many icebergs. We were even able to touch one.

St. John's, Newfoundland

5 out of 5
Super friendly local people greeted us with their Newfoundland dogs! Lots to see in this lovely town. We hired a cab driver who took us out to some sma;; fishing villages, a beautiful church, lighthouse and Fort Spear.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We carried our own luggage off the ship and hopped on the Brooklyn ferry back to Manhattan
