5th time on Princess (9th overall). While it was better than our previous cruise in April on the Majestic, it’s still apparent they have no idea how to provide good entertainment. Overall the cruise was good but we may have to skip Princess for a while.

Ate in MDR each night. Food was good, service was much better than last Princes cruise. While not Alfredo’s, the pizza was pretty good. The Buffet was descent. They had a taco “food truck” type offering which was good.

Not an over amount of things to do but was not an issue due to the ability to enjoy the great weather.

Entertainment

This is where Princess just cannot get it together. The entertainment in the theater is just sub par. Don’t get me wrong, the talent is there but there is just no creativity. A ventriloquist for 2 nights? Come on. No comedians; waited an hour for the DJ to show up one night at Skywalkers night club… never showed so we finally just went to bed. Entertainment around the pools was minimal. The theater shows were a collection of songs in which we never heard most of them. Boring and lack creativity. My 3 previous Princess cruises pre Covid were much better. Princess really needs to step it up. We had the same complaints when we were on the Majestic Princess in April.

Most were good to very good. A couple of the bars seemed overwhelmed at times. Ordering from the app is great when it works.

Despite her age, the ship is clean and well maintained. My favorite class of ship. Love the wrap around promenade deck.

Very clean, plenty of room for 2. Off and on vibration woke us up each night. Princess has great bedding.

We were also on this cruise and I was disappointed by the entertainment to a point compared to past Princess cruises. The Ventriloquist was not entertaining at all. The end of trip party was very disappointing as well. I am used to when the ship leaves port, they play the love boat theme song on the horn, they did not on this trip. Thinking I'll try a Celebrity cruise next time.

The difference is that I’ve been on 2 Carnival cruises post Covid and they have had no problems finding/creating good entertainment.

I have one question and that is what is the same as pre-Covid? You have to realize the cruise lines were shut down for 2 years and are affected by the same shortages as everyone else. A lot of staff left service as they had to find work to support their families.

Agree with windy2day. Really good production shows on Enchanted. The comics and ventriloquists are not Princess employees, they change every few days. Some are better than others.

Thanks for your review. Sorry the entertainment didn’t wow you. Maybe try another, newer Princess ship? The shows on the Enchanted Princess blew us away!
