Been on many cruises over the years and this Caribbean Princess cruise was the worst. From unclean cabins to burnt food didn't make us happy at all!

Food and Dining

MDR during breakfast was awful. Slow service, we were served burned ham & bacon. Always had to ask for pastries & refills on coffee. Not attentive service. MDR during dinner was lovely. Great service & good food. The Lido Buffet at Breakfast was awesome with many food choices. Lido Buffet during lunch was awful. Hot foods were cold & dried out. Not many options for a lunch buffet, lots of spicey food that everyone said was terrible. If you don't like spicey foods you only had salads to turn to. Breads & pastries were ALWAYS STALE. We noticed that the same stale bread that didn't get used during meal time was then used for tea time sandwiches. Awful. During tea time we had to ask 5 times to get scones & jam and refills of tea on a daily basis. Awful service. Regarding the bars they certainly did not know how to mix a Lemon Drop Martini - I got straight vodka with a lemon twist. Awful.
Onboard Activities

Did go to any activities.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Shows were good. Not a regular production show just dancers in fancy costumes. Would be nice to have an acting skit or short segments of a play. There were no dance floor clubs opened for after dinner hours. The Skywalk Club didn't open until 10 p.m. which was way too late for many people after a busy day. When we did go to Skywalk Club there was all of 20 people there. Terrible.
Service and Staff
2 out of 5
Room steward was an older gentlemen who could not keep up with the large amount of cabins he was responsible for. After being on the ship for only 3 hours we developed a leaking bath sink which was taken care of. Then 2 days later the mold on floor from leak was never taken care of. The waiters in MDR at dinner were awesome, but waiters in MDR during breakfast were awful - slow & inattentive.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Ship could have been cleaner. On our deck floor there was glitter all over the rug and never got vacuumed. Lido buffet carpet was always dirty. The MDR room was in a very odd location that you had to take the elevator to deck 7 and then walk down the stairs to deck 6 for dining room....weird and difficult for passengers. Public restrooms were very difficult to find and were always hidden in an odd area.
Cabin / Stateroom

Very small cabin with no space to move around, the tiniest shower stall we have ever seen. We have bruises on arms/legs from taking showers. No shelves in shower to place toiletries. Cleanliness was half-ass. Mold around sink, floor & around toilet. Huge TV that blasted loudly due to the small cabin was way oversized for the cabin. On our 2nd night our neighbors arrived back to their cabin after midnight and were extremely loud & banging against the walls. We had to call customer service desk twice before action was taken. Then once they realized how loud the neighbors were they just walked into our cabin while were were in bed to hear the magnitude of noise. Was very rude & weird for a security person to walk into our room.
Amazing. I was on the same cruise. Every meal I had was outstanding
Skywalker lounge was really rocking after 11 until 3 in the morning. Some of the best high tech shows ever. The ship, the staff, were fantastic. Guess some pe are never happy with anything. I'm 74 and thought it was all fantastic. Been on 7 other cruises in the 90s and I'm amazed at how much much better they are.
