Review summary

As previously stated; these cruises seem to be geared more toward guests in their eightys rather than in their sixties. Need to get updated better with the times.

Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Specialty restaurants not as good as they used to be. Service very slow. Main dining was better. Need sushi restaurant.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Activities and entertainment still focused on older passengers. Need better scheduled times for shows that conflict with dinner hours.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Need at least some more heavy rock oriented music and shows. We are in our sixties not eightys.

Children's Programs

No children. Need more adult only areas.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Overall excellent

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
This is an older ship. Recently upgrade, but still limited and somewhat old school layout.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
Always stay in a mini suite or better. Was waitlisted for club class suite from the beginning and advised that most likely would be upgraded. That did not happen and was stuck in very small cabin with extremely tiny bathroom. Could not cancel after a certain time. Very disappointed.

My sisters and I love Princess and we are in our 30s and 40s. We love that this line is not centered around kids, so there are not a lot of them running around on the ship. We just did a cruise to Alaska on the Star, then booked Western Caribbean on the Caribbean and looking for a Mediterranean with Princess too.

Looks like Disney or 3 or 4 day Carnival would be more for you. Heavy Metal. Hmmmmmm

Time to find a new cruise line. Carnival and Royal Caribbean might be more to your liking. And, no, I am not in my 80’s.

There are plenty of other lines to choose from..we are in mid 40s and we love princess but for those that need more excitement there are the other lines

If you think Princess is geared to older cruisers, don’t ever take Holland America.

Primarily 4 and 5 star reviews from recent cruisers on this ship, and they aren't in their 80s. 🍹
