Embarkation

this was our first cruise so we were unsure of what was expected or how it worked - the staff made it very easy and there wasn't any waiting.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All the food surpassed my expectations. No matter what restaurant you go to, the food was delicious.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
all the activities were fun. Princess put a lot of time into making sure all activities were fun and eventful. The fitness center was perfect - i loved running on the treadmill and looking out to the front of the ship!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was always nice and helpful! Our room steward was the best and really got to know us and what our daily routine would be. All the staff was friendly and someone was always saying hi and greeting you. It was a breath of fresh air.

Ship Quality

The ship was ALWAYS clean! I kept telling my family that I've never seen a place so clean all the time. Very impressed.

Ship tip

Be early for shows or trivia so you can get a good seat! check out planks BBQ and the steak house - both are well worth the extra cover charge.

Ports of call

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

4 out of 5
I was really looking forward to our beach BBQ at Princess Cays but unfortunately due to a medical emergency, it put us into port late and the lunch was cancelled. However, the beach was very nice and people could easily spread out and you didn't feel crowded. Just a little disappointed that none of the food stands were open.

Cartagena, Colombia

LOVED Columbia! this was my favorite port! the excursion selection was great and had plenty to choose from. I was amazing seeing the Colombian culture and history.

Panama Canal (Cruise Into Canal)

5 out of 5
Amazing to see the new Panama Canal - once in a lifetime experience. Get up early so you can get a good spot at the front of the ship to see the locks. On the way back through, a side view is great to see the actually locks open and close.

Colon, Panama Did not visit port

we didn't get off the boat at this stop.

Puerto Limon, Costa Rica

zip lined through the Rain forest of Costa Rica and it was a wonderful experience.

George Town, Grand Cayman

Did the cayman highlights and resort beach break. We visited Hell and the Tortuga Rum Cake then went to a private resort with reserved lounge chairs. We’ve done the highlights in the past ( rum cake factory and hell) so didn’t see anything new. The rum cake factory is basically a convenience store. However, the resort and beach was outstanding! The beach was clean and beautiful with crystal clear water! The staff at the bar were very friendly and helpful. The service was fast and efficient! I would definitely recommend a beach break to anyone! You can’t beat these beaches!
