Review summary

Excellent Cruise, very friendly staff. The Panama Canal was obviously the highlight.

Arrived at the terminal around 11:15 and was boarding the ship at 11:45. Very efficient.

The anytime dining was excellent, never had to wait for a table and the food selection was great. Whereas at the buffet the breakfast and lunch foods were pretty good the dinners were so so. Without the beverage package iced tea only available in the buffet area. International Cafe was awesome for lunches or snacks.

Ship tip

If you are looking for the best view when going through the Panama Canal go to the 15th floor and go all the way to the front of the ship on either port or starboard side. You will come to a white door with no markings, open the door and you will see a short hall with another door (with a small window) that takes you out onto a viewing platform (it’s actually the top deck of the wheelhouse) that looks out over the front of the ship as you pass through the locks.
