Overall it was a great cruise. Like anything there are always bumps in the road, but nothing that a good staff should not be able to overcome. On the most part that's what the staff did.

Was not happy. You cancel our reservations and gave our room A736 to another couple after we had paid in full back in August 1, 2017 to our travel agency Educational Opportunities Tours. This was a tour I bought for my wife back in August as a 42nd Anniversary Present. Your representative stated if we were willing to pay in full again, he would board us right away. I told him that Princess Cruises needed to work it out with Educational Opportunities that we already paid for the cruise in full and money does not grow on tree, well it does, but I don't have one of those trees. We were still sitting in Terminal 4 from 12 noon until 3:45 pm waiting to hear whether we were going to be allowed to board the Ship or not. They must have worked something out with Educational Opportunities because your representative came back with our boarding passes and said "you can board" without a word of apology for the inconvenience. We were just happy that we were getting to board the ship to go on our Anniversary Cruise. The room they gave us was a handicap room with two single beds, but we were just happy that we were going on our trip.

Staff were great, especially with making sure that nothing that was served had peanuts in it. (Peanut Allergy)
Onboard Activities

Four Small pools are okay, a larger one in the center would be better.
Entertainment

For a Ship the size of the Caribbean Princess that there would be a bigger theater with a lot of variety of shows. It was hard to get in to see a show a lot of people were not happy. Disney Cruises have you beat in this area.

Roof panels rattled and kept us awake, maintenance came in and said they would have to take the panels down but it would have to wait till the room was unoccupied. He did use some napkins to buffer the panels so that they were not as noisy.
We were there to see the Panama Canal and we did!!! Paise the Lord they added another ferry boat that more people could go through the old locks to the Pacific Ocean. Thank You for doing that, that made the trip worthwhile!
If you want to cruise Princess again they have cruise consultants. They are basically travel agents that are employed by Princess Cruises. From what I can see is the third party(Educational Opportunities Tours)is where your troubles are. Was your August 1 final payment 75 days or more from your sail date? If not that could be another problem; as most lines require final payment be made by 75 days prior to your cruise. Whatever the case don't give up on cruising.
