Review summary

Besides the front desk issues, the cruise was amazing We loved Costa Rica so much we are booked for a resort in May of 2018 Lots of fun on the cruise, from music to the crazy games with the Cruise staff Victoria, Rachel, Duval Brenna and Micca are hilarious and personable Would book this cruise again, with the hope that the front desk learn about better communication OH the INTERNET package is horrible and expensive . I ended up doing the hour for .79 a minute and they overcharged so be careful

Embarkation

LONG LONG LONG line to get through security, one lady had a hyperglycemic event and was laying on the floor but then once through the long line, at least an hour getting everything set up and on the ship took 10 minutes

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was very good including the buffet where we ate most of the time because of fish fish fish on the dining room menu. Room service was bare selections The Bar staff amazing Specialty Steak House ample food and delicious too

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We mostly did the games, bingo plus the silly games with the cruise staff

Entertainment

3 out of 5
We did not like any of the ship productions at all Pinnacle was good, but after a few days you get tired of hearing the same songs the female singer needs to smile more, she has a gorgeous smile and the male lead singer needs to take singing lessons he is good when he has to shout the songs out or maybe he just had an inner ear infection but he was very entertaining the rest of the band amazing

Children's Programs

no kids with us on board, really?

beautiful ship loved all of it we saw a window cleaner out when the winds and rain on sea prevented us from going on deck he was there scrubbing the windows

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Loved our cabin, however they need to have more plug outlets for phones Our room was cleaned often and we lacked for nothing Wilfred was amazing

Ship tip

avoid the front desk unless you talk to Olena There is obviously a lack of communication here and some ladies were rude, or did not know what was going on for instance" Are there any more electrical plugs for phones" the first lady we spoke to said I don't know I don't think so, she seemed confused.Correct answer: There are three plugs in the room, the bathroom, one by the phone, and one behind the tv. These last answers were given by Olena We would like to change our specialty dinner to another restaurant, Answer you will have to go to the restaurant itself to inquire... correct answer call the dining number and change given by Olena

Disembarkation

I had originally bought our flight leaving at 11 AM I was told by Princess they could not get me to my plane by that time ( we made Port at 7AM) so I had to cancel and repurchase our flight. People were getting off at 7:15 AM a bit angry about this extra expense. So I had to book the next flight available at 3:20 PM Princess offered the E Z Check in Fill out your air info etc, they will take your bags to the plane, and book you into your flight and then give you your boarding pass. My daughter who is Canadian got all of her stuff, boarding pass etc. I who am an American Citizen did not. No explanation as to why, the letter I receive said that I was approved, but no boarding pass. SO I called the Front desk (UGH) was told they were call me back, when they did they told me my Airline said they could not provide that boarding pass for personal reasons... WHAT? I live in FLorida really, I had to go and get my boarding pass at the airport which I did with no problem but why offer this ? I called my airline and they said that was not true, I should have received my printed boarding pass. AGAIN LACK OF COMMUNICATION. ALSO we were suppose to receive a disembarkation notice as to when and where we would go to get off the ship, we received nothing. AGAIN I called the front desk The person at the other end, a lady asked what color is your bag tag, I told her white, she said they are all white ( um that is wrong ) what are the letters on your tag I said I was sure you asked me what color was my tag , but told her the letters on the white tag. she then told us what are to go to and the time. Found out that all luggage tags are not WHITE they are COLORED. If I could give NO stars I would have ... horrible experience with them.
