Review summary

The staff makes up for all that the ship lacks - decorum. Also, prospective guests should be informed that the ship is really a senior citizen haven and not suitable for teenagers.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff and service are what keeps the ship afloat. Pleasant, professional and ever ever helpful! I do hope that they are compensated accordingly.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship is starting to look drab compared to other ships and needs a refreshed look.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
Very unhappy with the cabin as it was really inappropriate for four people. I payed full prize for this and would have been able to get two staterooms at this price. Expected the room to be bigger! The layout should have been explained to me. A really uncomfortable stay!

Ship tip

For example: The buffets had exceptional food and the lines were short. Use anytime dining worked best for my group.

Ports of call

Southampton (London), England

A nightmare to get to! I was charged 300+ pounds from London!

Way too short of a stay- between taking the tender and getting there not enough time to see the place!

Didn't you ever watch the Love Boat? No kids, no teenagers. So what if it's been the same passengers since 1985.

The Crown Princess was an older clientele to Alaska last year. We are 56 and 58 and like to be where kids and teens are not so we love Princess! Our kids are all grown and we already spent years doing the Disney thing.
