Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Suite

This was our first experience leaving from Bayport and thankfully, our last! The boarding process was line after line, as an elite and suite passenger, not something expected. The food on board was below par and the stateroom furniture was stained.  Many crew members seemed tired and rightfully so, as they were at the end of their tours. Of course, overall, the crew was exceptional, friendly and warm as they typically are. This ship for sure needs some TLC and updating!

Cabin / Stateroom
Stateroom steward, Rodrigo, may be the best we have ever had! The furnishings were old and stained but the bed was very comfortable.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
It took over 30 minutes to board the ship but disembarkation was swift
Ship Quality
This ship needs to be updated
Destinations and Excursions
The Beach Escape as Costa Maya was far less than described. The 'resort' consisted of a not so nice beach and old beach chairs. Open bar was limited to 2XX beer, frozen pina coladas and strawberry dacquiris- no other choices!
Onboard Activities
Children's Programs N/A
Entertainment
The show dancer/singers were not the best we had seen on other ships
Service and Staff
Food and Dining
Dining Room selections were not very good and taste/quality was less than subpar. A premium wine list should be offered so we don't have to take wines that are of better quality on board.
George Town, Grand Cayman
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
Don't waste time or money on the Beach Escape
Cozumel, Mexico
Love this port and Pancho's Backyard (downtown) ..best meal we had on the entire trip!
