We didnt think a cruise of U.S. cities would be all that interesting- but we were plesantly surprised.

Review summary
We had cruised most of the major sites in the world and could not think of another place we wanted to see. But we settled on this cruise of Eastern Canada, New England and East Coast of the U.S. during the leaf changing season. We had never visited that part of the U.S. Princess did a good job of selecting the cities and tours that brought out the best of each destination. The only bummer was NYC, where it rained all day- but nothing we could do about that. Also had very knowledgeable tour guides- the best we have had on a cruise. The shipboard experience was as good as we have had on previous Princess cruises. The food was excellent- both the buffets and specialty restaurants. The entertainment was good , but not the best we have had. The rest of the shipboard experience was inline with this great ship, which we have sailed before. Overall- a very pleasant experience- especially disembarking in Houston instead of Ft. Lauderdale.
