Review summary

Booked this cruise in celebration of my husband's 50th birthday. We had an excellent experience throughout the whole trip. Loving the stunning meals in restaurants and daily afternoon teas and late night snacks up to 2am. Just great every moment. Loved the formal nights. Felt really special all glammed up.

Room stewart: extremely polite and very happy in his wirk. Waiters very professional and polite. Made you feel special as led to your table. Executive Chef Paul Rowe .... excellent people skills and polite making time to say hi and .... have you tried whatever the dish was. Really lovely chap and easy to speak to.

First class ... no complaints. Excellent size. The bedding and those super soft pillows .... i would have loved to take a pillow home with me. Never had such a comfortable pillow as such. Nothing was too much when asking for anything from our cabin steward. Room excellent.

Ship tip

Take little battery operated tealights for gentle night lighting. No need to take shower gel as the have The White Company fixed into shoer unit a d generous 100mls shampoo and conditioner for complimentary use. Take little laundry detergent for use in helpful launderette with net laundry bags.

Beautiful .... fab soft sand on the beach. Try visiting The Boat Yard. USD $25 You get entry to beach with security, sunbeds , unbrellas, table for drinks, 45mins snorkle experience to swim with turtles, a free drink, shower and washroom fascilities. Then you get can get a ride back to the port that leaves every 15mins up until 8pm. Just super. Very busy in Bridgetown but good stores.

I LOVED Antigua!!!! Really gorgeous Island. Great museum, interesting market. Caught local bus to Nelsons Dockyard for a few EC Dollars and paid entry to the yard. Beautifully manicured and preserved buildings with information boards. Even had a relaxing swim at Pigeon point. Taxi driver was on time for pick up back to main road for local bus back to port terminal.
