Review summary

We have sailed Brilliance 3 times over the years and it is sad to see how it has been neglected in some ways. The food was hit and miss in the dining room. Small portions of vegetables and very thin cuts of meat. Dining used to be a very pleasant experience on the Brilliance. Not any more. The specialty restaurants, Chops and Giovanni's were better but even they have lost their edge as far as top quality.

Ever staff person was great. Very professional crew.

Things (some funiture) were NOT dirty they were old and worn. A lot of the ship needs updating. New cabin furniture. New items in the passageways. There was one coffee display by the Schooner lounge that was there when we cruised in 2017.

Cabin / Stateroom

Old couch needed new cushions and was dingy. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Bathroom also needed new fixtures.

Ship tip

Get a suite. I would hope they are in better shape than our balcony cabin.

Never going back. Long walk from the docking. The city area around the port is a disaster with construction and huge crowds on narrow streets and sidewalks. Excursions looked like a cattle call as well.
