Review summary

Just on the bus to the airport so here’s a quick review The key was key to us on this trip. Getting on the ship was very easy with us queue jumping due to the key. Welcome lunch was good but not much organisation from the servers. Had a balcony cabin which we were worried about as we only had a suite on previous cruises!!! We didn’t need to worry. We had enough space and although in need of a refurb was very comfortable for the week. Bit of an issue with cleanliness the first day but attendant changed next day and then everything was ok. We were booked my time dining and got in at the specified time although there were long queues when we finished. Again lack of organisation in yhe MDR with our server disappearing all the time. Only managed 2 nights before we changed to the Windjammer which we found to be very good. Quality of the food was better in WJ. Nice area outside to eat. Ship was in good condition for its age and everywhere was very clean. Not many kids on 😀😀 so no issue in the Solarium. Nice relaxed atmosphere in there. Pool went from cold to warm to cold again over the 7 days. Best service was from Arnolfo in the pub. I had the DBP and every time I went in there it took seconds for me to get my drink. Also Lattetudes coffee shop was excellent with great service again. Only tipped these 2 areas as service elsewhere could have been a lot better. Internet wasn’t too bad. Occasionally slow but majority of the time was good. Kotor a lovely old town. Did a bus tour which we enjoyed. 25 euros from outside the port. The key was great as we didn’t have to get tender tickets and walked to the front of the queue. Corfu and Athens we stayed on board as we have been there before. Enjoyed the peace on board Mykonos we were very disappointed with. Very dirty. Also didn’t help that there were 5 or 6 cruises in. Argostoli was lovely. We had a nice walk along the front and saw some turtles in the sea. Then walked back through the shopping area with loads of good shops although some were pricey. If you get a chance watch Forever in the theatre. They were fantastic. With one song sending shivers down my spine. Just as good as the original. Again the breakfast on the last day for the key was a bit unorganised but the steak was fantastic. So a thumbs up for the pub (had a great couple of guitarists/singer as well)and lattetudes. One thing I’ve learnt is I’m not going to get a deluxe beverage package again. Don’t get me wrong I got great value from it but towards the end of the week I was flagging. Moderation would be so good. 😂😂 So all in all a great and relaxing week. Got to wait till May for the next one 😩😩
