Review summary

I had high expectations for this cruise because I've never sailed with Royal Caribbean before. I've heard good things from others so I was looking forward to this trip. On a positive note the room attendant and our dinner crew were great. Everyone else on the boat we encountered seemed to be unhappy and disinterested. The food was average at best. The one meal that stood out was the lobster. Unfortunately my next cruise will be back on carnival.

This is why you should get the travel insurance..you would have gotten all of your money back....

Yes, I wish I would have. I thought if something went wrong on their end they would atleast break their back to make up for it the best way they could but they really didn't come across that way. The ship is in dry dock which I didn't know, and is being renovated. They thought it would be done but they over shot it by a month. I completely understand if something breaks and you have to cancel but they were more worried about filling up the ship in hope it would be done in time instead of waiting to be more certain. The result was hundreds of people had to change their travel with only one ship sailing at that time. Just aggravated on the response.

Why did they cancel?We always buy insurance,well worth it.

I am getting ready for my 4th cruise on RCC and love them,we did has a less the perfect trip in October but my other 2 were the best and can't wait for the one in May!!!!!

I don't blame you! They canceled our cruise 18 days out without trying to please any of the passengers. Said take your $100 and go pound salt
