Review summary

Most important thing about a cruise is to know what to expect and what you are getting into.  For us, this ship is not to big, not to small, the cruise length is just right for an extended weekend getaway.  Excellent time of the year, both in weather and for a couple wanting a cruise that does not make you feel like you are in a floating chucky cheese.  Have been on this ship twice now and it has been excellent.  My wife is a chef and I am a home baker and we are food snobs, BUT we LOVE the food on this ship.  We ate 100% at the windjammer cafe (the buffet lines), and were totally satisfied with the selection.  Even the french fries were (pomme fritte-euro-quality).  We will be back on this ship again.  Spa staff just the best, as is all the rest of the crew.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The chefs on this cruise need to teach all others how to do it right on a cruise. Tops.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We just used the spa, gym, and the solarium for relaxation, perfect for the size of ship and length of cruise.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
headliner entertainment was superb. MO5AIC from Vegas? WOW!!!!

Service and Staff

The best I have seen on my 5 cruises so far

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Super clean, and even though the ship was 100% full, it never felt crowded. Felt much less crowded than the mega ships (which is what we like)

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
My only negative on the whole cruise. Bed to soft for us, we like a very firm bed,

Ship tip

This is not a mega ship, so do not compare it to such. The food in the Windjammer is so good, the main dining room or specialty restaurants are not really needed, unless it is your desire. Get the thermal spa package if you are a couple, you get private spa rooms with heated ceramic lounge chairs.

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida

I live here, its no state taxes, low cost of living, and 95% sunshine... what is not to like?

Key West, Florida

5 out of 5
Really only good for a first timer, drinker, and bar scene type. Fabulous water sports, but only a few hours in port is not enough.

Cozumel, Mexico

great tourist trap, stay safe and keep with the RC recommended excursions

Thanks for taking time to provide a review. I honestly have never heard of 100% windjammer eating but it's nice to hear you had a great time.

Wow a 100% meals in the Windjammer? You missed out on the dining in the Main Dining room.
