Review summary

Our very first cruise ever for 3 family members -- middle aged couple and 18 year old daughter -- was great.  Service, staff, food, and activities offered were beyond expectation.  The only disappointment was in the "My Time" dining arrangement, which is all that was left when we made a late cruise booking; the line to be seated for our 7:30 reservation time was consistently long in an inefficiently-cooled corridor, and we were typically seated 20 -30 minutes after our assigned time.  Next time, we will make every effort to secure early seating at 6 pm before dining gets backed up.  Once seated, though, food and service are superb.  The extra expense for a deck 7 balcony room was well worth it for the view, privacy, and feeling of extended cabin space.
