Review summary
I have sailed with RCI many times and have always enjoyed it.. This time it was different. We enjoyed ourselves because we were away. RCI has made numerous cut backs, some small and suttle, others much more noticable. Example it was very difficult to find a server on the pool deck for drinks, ususally you had to fight them off. At lunch, at the buffet, it was impossible to find anything to make a plain old sandwich that didn't already have mayo or cheese. This cruise is a much older group of people but food was heavy, greasy, spicey, and after a few days hard to tolerate. Sliced turkey or chicken was impossible to get.. When serving bagels they always had salmon or lox on the buffet, now if you know to you have to ask for it. The shows were great, the ship is still fun but just not up to their standards.
