Great Cruise for Price

Sail Date: December 17, 2007

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was beautiful. The activities were a lot of fun. We played bingo, and the trivia came. For the most part the staff was very friendly. Our cruise director was great. Very outgoing and his personality was freshing. the gym was very nice and spacious.

Pros: The stateroom was very spacious. We had 4 25 year olds (2 girl and 2 boys) in one room and fit no problem. Dinners were great, but serving size was very small. We drank every night before dinner and alcohol prices were very reasonable.

Cons: The golf simulator was always closed everytime we wanted to play. Our stateroom attendant was extremely rude. It was annoying everytime we came our of our room he was standing right there. The jacuzzi's were always packed and when we did get in them were not very hot.

Recommends Brilliance of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
the ship was very clean. lots of elevators and easier to get around.
Food and Dining
the food was great but portion were small.
Service and Staff
Our stateroom attendant was very rude.
Activities were great. Always something to do.
Cabin / Stateroom
staterooms were very spacious! the bathroom was roomy enough to show and get ready in.
Key West, Florida
Key west was beautiful. We went snorkeling and the whole experience was very enjoyable. After we snorkeled the ship gave out all the wine and beer you could drink.
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
Cococay was very boring. If you enjoy laying out then it was nice but there was no culture on the island. the only thing to do was swim and lay out. not my cup of tea. I would much rather go to Nassau.
