Have been on several cruises, including Azamara. The overall experience on the Pursuit was as nice as cruises on Quest and Journey. In talking with other guests, many had similar observations. I don't think this ship is suited for l voyages or ones with at sea days.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
Food tasted like it was prepared in large volume, a nice presentation and a pepper grinder can not hide lack of taste. Specialty restaurants were no better, just better service...food was the same. More like the food in an all-you-eat $9 Las Vegas buffet that a higher end cruise ship. I found a bottle of the wine they were serving in a local store for $6.00.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Activities were limited, pool very small. Fitness center was good, although their equipment was not being maintained.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
The guest entertainers was average to good,, but there were not enough variety, the same a 45 minute show twice a night is not enough. The onboard entertainers in the lounge were not that good and the DJ was not much better.
Children's Programs
no children's programs
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
With exception of guest relations, the staff were excellent, were trying to do their best.
Ship Quality
2 out of 5
Ship is showing it's age. Wasted space that could be used to additional entertainment options.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Cabin was cramped, even for a cruise ship. Bathroom was very cramped, most cramped of any ship I have been on.
Ship tip
Don't go, expecially if there are any at sea days. Pursuit is more of a ferry than a cruise ship.
Purchased Buenos Aires tour with airport drop off. Had to depart ship at 0730; dropped at airport at 1330, flight checkin was 1800 for a 2200 flight...five hours on a bench. They could have extended the city tour a few hours, mostl long haul flight leave Nuenos Aires very late.
