Review summary

The itinerary was wonderful. We were able to explore so much of Italy by using Trenitalia: Italy's extensive rail system. The ship staff were competent, accommodating and helpful. However, I question the captain's decision to move forward through dangerous waters so as to accommodate the schedule rather than safety. The schedule could easily have been modified, leaving earlier or later and avoid the storm. The waves were so high they hit above our window and were very noisy

Size was good. Cleanliness good except the shower arrangement was leaky as the water flowed onto the floor area as there is only a shower curtain. Also the shower itself was the smallest i ever experienced on a cruise ship

Almost as confusing as the embarkation. No signs & staff confused also as to where we should go. We paid for the ship shore excursion to Rome which was supposed to drop us off at our hotel, but we learned afterward that only two hotels were included i the drop off& the rest of us ha to find a taxi to our hotel
