Really nice weekend break, nice ship and fantastic food.

Embarkation

Literally the fastest embarkation ive ever experienced. From being drooped off to being sat on our cabin balcony with all luggage delivered was 30 minutes.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate at both speciality restaurants for 2 dinners, as well as the main dining room for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food in all 3 restaurants were amazing.

Sindhu

5 out of 5

Our favourite food of the whole weekend, absolutely amazing food.Highly recommend.

Ocean Grill

5 out of 5

Some of the best food we've ever had on any holiday let alone a cruise ship.Seafood and meat were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing.Highly recommend.

Neptune Grill

4 out of 5

Nice and simple. Burger, chips, chicken and hot dogs.Cant go wrong for a midday snack.

Meridian Restaurant

5 out of 5

Had a really nice breakfast here, and a brilliant fillet steak and fish & chips for dinner one night.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Loads of stuff to do on board, quizes, bingo, karaoke, sail away and pool parties. As well as seminars/talks, films sports competitions like table tennis and deck quoits.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We had 2 shows while aboard, the first being Mr Tickertons Clockwork Circus, and it was amazing. The second show was a 3 piece band called the privaters singing sea shantys and again they were brilliant.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff are always really friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Nice ship with some really nice venues, we had a deluxe balcony cabin which was absolutely huge. The only issue is she is 20 years old, and in places it does show, she is due a major refit in November this year.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Absolutely huge cabin and balcony to go with it, like the rest of the ship just needs updating.

Ship tip

Book speciality dining 2 weeks before sailing, we did this and it was still selling out fast. Get to some venues like the globe and the rising sun early if you want to do the activities, they get really busy quick.

Ports of call

Zeebrugge (Bruges), Belgium

5 out of 5
Lovely little belgian city, we got the port shuttle to port gate where there was a private bus transfer to Brugges. This cost €25pp for a return which is more than half the price P&O were charging. Loads to do and see it brugges, some very nice chocolate shops, cafes and restaurants, we also done a canal boat trip which cost €15pp Which again is alot cheaper than doing it through P&O.

Southampton (London), England

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We always chose to self disembark, which is so quick and easy.
