Review summary

Me personally the ship is in need of an overhaul. Especially the toilet system as several of the toilets in public areas were closed for the duration of the cruise. Was annoyed to find out that there was no photographer on board for the cruise especially seeing as it was a new year short cruise.

Food in meridian restaurant was not the expected standard that i expected of the chefs of P&O best meal was probably Formal night on New years Eve. Staff were run ragged it looked like they forgot about us several times. Took 20 minutes to get a bottle of wine that we ordered. The staff looked as if they were not happy in their job

Cabin was good. Just would like to see P&O bring back the nice touches back like chocolates on pillow and making nice things from the towels.

Ship tip

Be very careful as on the last 2 cruises there has been out breaks of the norivirus.

Booked an excursion for 3 cities was annoyed to find that on the day of the excursion was informed that the shops closed at 2pm.

Arcadia is getting a dry dock refurb in November 24.

Oct MDR set sitting it took 50 mins to get our starter and a drink. Found food poor on most days. Standard’s definitely dropped.

Worst cruise ever
The cruise itself was fun plenty to do on board and on shore. However I found the service very slow and the staff not enthusiastic. It’s sad because good service makes any cruise.
