Review summary

Unfinished Business, The weather controlled this cruise, We must visit again. The people we met were friendly and welcoming. Big thank you, some of you put on a brave face and still gave your all to make our visit special.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very good, new rules caused some confusing, but all went well

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The main dining rooms did very well, covid restrictions for the 1st seven days, then by choice. End of the cruise it was mandatory. ( restrictions we have lived with for two years, and still people were wearing their face masks over their chin and mouth not over the nose.)

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
I spent my days in good company sea watching

Entertainment

Did not attend any shows, I spent my days in good company sea watching

Service and Staff

Fantastic, the Captain, earned his money, avoiding two Hurricanes and rough seas.

Ports of call

Southampton (London), England Did not visit port

Corner Brook, Newfoundland

5 out of 5
Corner Brook initially a day stop we stopped over night, due to a Hurricane on top of St.Johns which was cancelled it should have been the 1st port of call, we did manage to call back as our Last port of call

Iles de la Madeleine, Quebec Did not visit port

Halifax, Nova Scotia

A Trip to Peggy`s Cove, a very windy cool day out

Boston, Massachusetts

5 out of 5
an over night stop, had a walk around the city and the 2nd day a harbour boat trip

New York, New York

5 out of 5
We arrived in style, just going under the first bridge as we approached New York. We had a light show of a different kind, Lightning, thunder, heavy rain and hailstones, what an entrance we sailed past Liberty and couldn't see it. We spent the time with a relative and one the 2nd day we spent the whole day at Jamaica Bay nature reserve, our guide was Don Riepe, what amazing guy, it was a real pleasure meeting him. He showed us around the reserve met with his colleagues saw birds I have never seen before, or new the names off. If I ever return I will sp4end every day here. So much to see not enough time to see all of the good work they do here for Nature and the environment. This is a 50 star event

Bar Harbor, Maine

5 out of 5
the sights of Bar Harbour

St John, New Brunswick

5 out of 5
due to cancellations, and coastal damage, guides and transport reason Ive given 5 stars to everyone, they did the very best to show us the best, considering what they had been through

Sydney, Nova Scotia

5 out of 5
was our 2nd stop due to cancellations, and coastal damage, guides and transport was brought in, Yellow School buses maybe great for kids, not the best for seniors

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Again very smooth professional team work
