Everything was excellent. Can’t wait for our next cruise.

Best hot tubs. Plenty to go around. Indoor and outdoor pools were great. Everyone on board were all pleasant. We had a great 9 days of relaxation and enjoyment.

The crew and Hospitality staff is what makes the cruise successful. It's an updated modern ship that is well-maintained. The activities on board are typical of a cruise ship, and they are a lot of fun. I thought the entertainment was very good and that the cruise director and the assistant Cruise director really made sure that there was a good time had by all. You can tell that they put a lot of planning into the activities and entertainment. The food is delicious.

The staff on the Anthems of the Sea were really warm and friendly. The rooms were quite spacious and allowed parties to connect side by side.

Overall the cruise was great but I did encounter some issues. If you have a drink package and want to get soda, there are very few soda machines on the ship to do this. You are stuck having to go to a bar and then your choices are limited. Its a big ship with lots of people so get used to lines in some places and forget the pools or lounges at peak times. CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT constantly, We had a group of 6 with 3 staterooms and they were always charging me for drinks(I did not have a drink package, others did) that others in my group ordered. I had to make frequent trips to Guest Relations to fix and find out what the charge was. First 2 days was constant upselling for Diner packages and other things. Very annoying. If you want to buy all those nice pictures they take during the cruise, get ready for an insulting charge.

We had a much needed relaxing 9 days away. The staff in all departments were friendly, rides duo also and attentive to the passengers needs. I'd highly recommend this cruise. Just be prepared to pay for any extra alcohol and internet. Royal does not offer any free add ons as other companies do so you'll have to pay. They do offer deals prior to sailing if you want these services.

The cruise was great the food was fantastic, the shows we saw we're good. Beautiful ship and the ports were wonderful. Don't care too much for Labadee, not a lot there to do.

My family and I have a wonderful trip on this cruise . We are definitely will Coming back.

The shows were terrible, bad actors, singers and plot line. We fell asleep during one and walked out on another. We recommend the drink package, higher end coffee was great in the mornings and we drank a lot of wine throughout the day (remember you have all day with not much to do, so you will drink more than you think you will). There is a great wine bar that allows you to try a bunch of different wines which was fun to experiment with our tastes. We did some of the activities such as trivia which was fun and roller skating which was a blast from the past. We also got massages and we LOVED them, yes a bit pricey but they did not disappoint. The private balcony was nice to retreat to especially when we sailed through a storm and they closed down the deck, it also rained for two days so we had coverage in an outside space and didn't have to fight the crowds. The food in the main dining hall was great every night and the menu changed, we didn't feel a need to pay extra for the higher end restaurants we had a great experience in the main dining. We also loved 270 and their roast beef sandwiches, we tried to eat at some of the smaller places rather than fight the crowd at the windjammer. In Bermuda we hiked the beaches off of Horseshoe Bay and found some beautiful places that were empty and were our private beaches for the day. We also snorkeled at snorkel beach BUT it was super crowded and we saw more beautiful fish swimming on the beach than we did snorkeling. We did the self carry out disembarkation, we had to carry our own bags so it is only good if you are physically able and willing to do so...but we got off the boat earlier than everyone else and therefore didn't have traffic leaving the port, totally worth it. I recommend taking sea sickness meds before stepping on the boat, we were lucky not to get sick BUT about half the boat was the first day while we sailed around a storm. The service was incredible, we couldn't;t believe how clean everything was an how happy and talkative all the staff and employees were. Each staff member was invested in what they were doing and we were so impressed. It was tough to see our bill at the end of the trip and the extra fees for tips each day, but honestly the staff deserves it and I probably would have tipped them the same anyway.

The crew members on the ship was great and outstanding.

We really enjoyed sailing on anthem of the Seas. There was something for everyone on the ship. I was traveling with my two daughters ages 17 and 10.

Jr Suite was perfect for my family of 4. 1.5 baths was great with 2 girls (11 and 13) and plenty of space. Coastal Kitchen for dinner was excellent. WOW bands were very convenient. You get them with your suite (otherwise they are $5.00) which is worth it for the convenience.

Overall a nice cruise, the cruise ship itself could have been designed a little better IMO. I understand Royal tried to cram as much as possible on the ship and my kids loved the activities. I DID NOT like the fact that they hound you while on board eating breakfast, lunch and dinner like salesmen to book other restaurants. This practice needs to stop as you cannot have a peaceful meal with your family without these "salesmen" coming up to your table with menus from other establishments.

Overall, our 9 day cruise was fun, amazing, delicious and memorable. Our cabin stuard was lazy and the cabin was filthy from day 1. After talking with him a couple of times, we had to complain to guest services. After that, the cabin was clean as it should have been since the beginning.

The 24 hour café that was open all the tables at all times were full of dirty glasses and dirty dishes. And the smoking areas were never cleaned of the ashtrays and cups and plates. And I am a smoker and thought it was disgusting .

This was an amazing first cruise experience. I real appreciated our the maid Judy that was assigned to our cabin.

Overall we had a great time. Biggest complaint was not enough pools. When we wanted to cool off, it was so over crowded that it wasn't enjoyable. Bermuda is beautiful although one more day in port would have been perfect because we could have done another excursion or seen more of the island.

Spent twice the cost of a Carnival or Norwegian 14 day as this ship raves about kids activities.. HUGE mistake! Nothing to do- ever. Pool was tiny, never any activities. Cruiseline doesn’t value guests time- spent at least an hour per day (from day one to the day we left) with guest services trying to get our statements corrected because they didn’t apply our drink packages correctly. Wait Staff was excellent, cruiseline not so much. Will never sail with Royal again...
