Anthem of the Seas

7 Night Bahamas & Perfect Day (Cape Liberty Roundtrip)

Sail date: April 21, 2024

Ship: Anthem of the Seas

Traveled as: Couple

Review summary

As previously described all was good to great on Anthem. However we decided to do April Cruise instead of May to Go on Anthem's last cruise in the U.S.. Major mistake. 1500- kids on board. Free Range Children running wild for 7 Days. Totally disruptive for the most part with minimal exception. During Virtual Symphony we had to call for attendants to stop unruly Brats from running all over the theater. It lasted till attendants left and free range parents sat at the bar using their drink PKG. Running in the Hallways rampant entire cruise. Best behaved children some but very few U.S. children and all Chinese Children. I guess they still teach manners in China. Maybe China can put a course on raising children on Tik Tok

Best ever 20 minutes. Royal owns this process.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Every night choices in MDR were outstanding. Brunch every Sea Day Instead of doing Special Restaurant for our Friends 50th Anniversary we did Steak Special in MDR a on Lobster Night. They prepared a Special Anniversary cake and sang to them. Sorrento's and Promenade Cafe good for quick snacks and Lunch.

Onboard Activities

Too many dead spots during the day.

Entertainment

Juggler and The Comedian were outstanding. We already had seen all the shows. So on those we took a pass.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room Steward, Reuben, As always he was outstanding as are most Stewards. However my wife and I are pretty easy on our requests. Yves, and Sunny were an amazing wait staff team. If you can try to get in their section. They are professional and outstanding as a team. In general very friendly vibe

Ship Quality

I could show pictures but won't go there Ship is showing its age in spots. Especially in busy area where seats are involved. Worn down to stuffing in Schooner and Royal Music Hall. Come on man.

Cabin / Stateroom

All was good in 9522

Ship tip
