Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We dined primarilty in the Windjammer, I really appreciated that they required everyone to was their hands at the sinks next the the dining area. There was always a variety of good food.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We rode on the north star and bumper cars which where a lot of fun. There was always something to do even if it was just finding a comfortable chair to read a book or a group setting the play board games or cards.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
To be honest, one of the singing groups seemed as if they weren't well prepared to perform. They kept stopping and starting the singing number. With that said there was always some type of music playing which is enjoyable.

Children's Programs

i dont have kids

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Loved the layout of the ship, the interesting artwork throughout the ship. everything was very easy to find and there was plenty of signage to let you know if were in the Aft or Forward pat of the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was much larger than expected, there were 3 of us, so the room included 2 twin beds and 1 sofa bed. Although we did not have an actual window, there was a virtual window with a 24 hr live feed of the outside so it appeared as if we had a balcony. I loved the virtual window as dawn appeared. Its much better than a completely pitch black room

Ship tip

Use the app, talk to guest services early if you have any issue. also, if you dont get off the ship at one the ports some rides are free i.e. Norh Star

Ports of call

Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey

Parking is very expensive. I crused from Baltimore for the same number of days and the parking was $100 less

Thanks for the review. I had to cancel on this cruise due to last minute medical issue. I was surprised to see it dock at Port Canaveral on Tuesday. It was not on the itinerary for that week. It was supposed to be a sea day. What made the Captain change the itinerary?

Great review. We did Anthem out of NJ last February, we won’t leave from NJ or Baltimore during cold weather again. Just feels like you miss a day+ in each direction. Can’t agree more on drink package pricing being crazy. We won’t be getting it anymore at these prices. Just not worth it for us. Glad that overall it was a good cruise for you
