Spare your family this terrible vacation. Royal carribean is trying to make up lost profit and it shows.
Embarkation
2 out of 5
Embarkation was chaos. Royal carribean sends out a bunch of reminders that you can only arrive during a specific window. But when you do arrive, it is a free for all.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
All of the food on the ship is the same in all of the cafes, the buffet and the main dining room. It is also mostly the same each night.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
The solarium was nice (adults only). Everything else was trivia. So if you want to do anything other than soak or play trivia, take another trip.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
Entertainment was fine. Nothing special or exciting.
Children's Programs
1 out of 5
My baby in swim diapers was allowed in one small area, the baby splash zone. I give one star because this area is directly adjacent to the smoking section of the ship. Seriously!?!?! It is also directly underneath a dj booth so it is way to loud, every baby that came to the section starting crying from the noise.
Service and Staff
1 out of 5
The staff tried really hard, but they are mostly clueless. We booked a royal carribean excursion to go to a beach in the Bahamas. We were docked in the Bahamas for 6 hours total. We got off the ship with our tour guide, and then she walked away. Just disappeared. Another tour guide saw us and told us to walk to the other side of the pier. So 20 people are now walking by themselves around a random town we've never been to. This other tour guide called our bus and said "wait for it here" and left. We stood in the street for an hour waiting for this bus. When it finally arrived, we drove 45 minutes the the drivers buddies restaurant that had a small strip of beach out back. We stayed for an hour before the bus came back early to take us back to the ship. Needless to say, everyone complained to guest services. They told us to eff off, and blamed the locals they hire, even though we were abandoned by royal carribean staff.

Cabin was nice
Ship tip
Do not get on this boat. The food is terrible, events are lackluster, and you will only be in your destination for a few hours. On a 7 day cruise, we spent 12 hours in port.
We were on this ship just before you and ran into the chaos at the port because the don’t enforce check in times. When we went to guest services about the app continuously crashing and wanting help booking northstar and ifly we were told it could only be done on the app and that was it. No offer on how to fix it or we’re sorry. I saw where they were trying to save money as well bionic bar was off the whole 8 days roller skating and bumper cars didn’t run as often as the last time we were on this ship. The new menus are awful! And some people were saying they only had their room done once a day. Hopefully they get it all figured out soon
Im pretty sure guest services wouldn't have told u to #@ off. Funny how the review of the same ship right next to yours was 5 star wonderful. Cruising is not for you.
Sounds like cruising is not for you. Most people love it, but it’s not for everyone. Maybe Disney World or a land-based vacation would be a better option.
