This was our first transatlantic and we loved it. We had great weather our whole trip. The food and staff were excellent. Shows were great.
- for improvement — several times the daily activities had wrong meeting places listed.
- it would be great if RC had pre port talks to let us know what to expect and tips on where to go / eat / shop etc……
- the scrapbook activity was just a ploy to sell the kit , there was no “ class”.
- could not hear announcements clearly/ loud enough in our cabin.
Southampton is a lovely town and we stayed 2 nights extra to explore.

Stage shows were great and music performers.
Service and Staff

All personnel were great , friendly and helpful. Our main dining waitress was a female named “ JEFF” and she was THE BEST.
One waiter in Wonderland though went overboard by asking us EVERY TIME he came to the table if we were “ happy with his service”. I can see asking us at the end but he appeared stressed out by asking us constantly.
Ship Quality

Layout was good, I liked it better than the last RC ship I had been on.
Cabin / Stateroom

Size was great , I liked having the bed by the balcony I would open the doors at night for fresh air and there was plenty of storage .The bathroom was big enough. I liked having the kettle for hot water . There were also plenty of ports to charge our phones and iPads. TV was a great size and we used it everyday for ship information.
However it was hard to hear announcements in the cabin. Every time we had to open the door to listen in the hallway.
Our “2” hour bus trip to Paris took 3 hours only giving us 3 hours there. Not enough time to do hardly anything. The traffic was terrible and sirens were constant on the streets . And again no talk was givin about what to expect in Paris. I would not do a Paris excursion because most of your time is spent on the bus .
