Review summary

The cruise was a great experience. It was my first one (other than one as a child I do not remember) and I had a good experience. The service was outstanding, all the staff was wonderful and the food was amazing.

Freddy our housekeeper was very friendly and always leaved a fun towel shaped animal when he left and contributed to a great cruise experience.

Ship tip

The excursions aren't worth all the money, but if you want a guide and set activity it will be fun.

Congratulations on your 1st. cruise. My wife and I have been on Anthem 2 times now, and scheduled for a 3rd time on January 2 2023 for another 11 nighter. My long-term advice to you, is if you can start going on 10 plus day cruises, you will see a gigantic difference on the ship. My wife and I only do 10 plus days, if you watch your emails and cruising websites you can do 10 plus days for the same price as 7 day cruises. Not to mention once you get to 10 plus days the amount of people on the ship go way down, virtually no kids at all and a much more adult population on the ship, and remember celebrity is owned by RC so your status is honored on Celebrity.
