Just enjoyed your stress free cruise on a great ship with a great ship!
Embarkation
4 out of 5
I was a little disappointed. We had a long wait in line at embarkation. I couldn’t help but to compare it with my previous cruise in Galveston. There were absolutely no waiting at the Galveston cruise port. Thankfully it wasn’t very cold so it was bearable.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food was great as usual. We eat at Windjammer and the selection was great. Fine dining was so great that there was really no desire to visit specialty dining. I will need at lest a week to loose all of the weight I gained on this cruise.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
There were plenty of activities to do on this great ship. From toddlers to adults, there were many venues to offers great things that appeal to everyone. Some of the popular venues are Flow Rider, Sea Plex, Rip Cord, climbing wall, Arcade, the North Star, and of course the pools and jacuzzis. The ship was at 75% capacity so I was able to enjoy many of these venues without a long wait time.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
There were plenty of entertainment for you to enjoy. I really enjoyed “We will Rock You”, which was a Broadway title show that highlighted songs from Queen in the Royal Theater. Two70 was the happening place where we saw Spectra’a Cabaret, Anthem Rocks, 80’s Mix tape. All of these shows were fantastic!! The Music Hall was the venue where we saw great bands perform all too familiar hits that we all knew and loved. Boleros is where we heard great Caribbean music such as Reggae and Latin music.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Service on the Anthem of the Seas was fantastic. The staff was very professional and very happy to assist you with any thing you needed. My honorable mentions are for the following crew members. Marion was our fantastic stateroom attendant . He was very attentive to our comfort. He was very professional and personable. He had my mattress pad on my bed before we returned from lunch. The Head and assistant waiter, Anand and Godfrey, were just great. I recommend that you have a table in their section. Always greeting you with a smile and great conversation.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Other than the grandness of the size, this ship was very clean and well kept. The staff really worked day and night to give us a vessel that we were happy to sail on for our cruise. The beauty of the this ship is truly matched by the cleanliness of it. This ship earns a five star rating and is well deserved.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
This was the best and most roomiest cabin we ever had on any ship. I really loved this cabin. Great job by Royal Caribbean to design cabins as roomy as this.
Ship tip
My advice is please watch your account. Mistakes do tend to happen but your always have guest services to correct any mishaps. Other wise enjoy your cruise on a great ship! Happy Cruising!
The was the highlight of the whole cruise when it comes to port of calls. An island of water parks and beaches combine. Loved this port. Excursions were on the pricey side so didn’t go on any but just enjoyed lounging on the lounge chair under and umbrella, which was complementary. All food and non alcoholic drinks were complementary as well.
