Could not fault the boat cleanliness, but way too pretentious for me and too much worrying about getting back to the boat each time we docked it was my first and last cruise

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Food was good all round, didn't like the constant clapping every night to appreciate the staff or the restaurant staff conga round the dining room felt like being at an expensive holiday camp!!!!

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Pools were nice, the hot tubs were way too hot and made everyone's eyes really sore with the chemicals

Entertainment

2 out of 5

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everywhere was spotless, only complaint was that someone on deck 10 was smoking cannabis constantly so it smelt

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was lovely, spotlessly clean, but no tea making facilities or iron in the cabin

Ship tip

Be prepared to never be able to get away from kids or people, this was my mistake hence why I wouldn't cruise again but it's not for everyone

I think cruising is not for you , sorry ! Sometimes you need to overlook that you are on a ship with a lot of people. When you book a ship of this size, this is what comes with it , lots of people. Your on vacation , and spent a lot of money. Just make the most of it and have fun and forget other people.

Glad you enjoyed your cruise

I sympathise with your comment about not being able to get away from kids and people! Some ships are better than others in that respect. P&O's Arcadia for example is child-free and has lots of decks uncluttered by surf simulators and the like, so it's easy to find some solitude.

Try Virgin Voyages, it's an adults only line.

Sorry you didn’t enjoy, you might be right cruising might not be for you. Maybe give another ship a try.

Try another before you give up. Each cruise we have been on keeps getting better

Sorry you didn’t enjoy it. Most people love it, but it’s not for everyone. If you want a cruise with less children, try Crystal, Symphony, Seabourn, Regent Seven Seas, or Viking.
